About Me

From an early age, I have always been passionate about my own self growth and very sensitive to energy. I have an amazing story about meeting Archangel Michael at the age of 20 after a car accident. I have spent the last several years acknowledging the truth of those moments for me, and developing a close relationship with Michael and other Angels. I rely heavily on the etheric realm for support and insight in my work.

With their support, I am gifted at seeing patterns in lifetimes and spiraling that out to its root source for awareness, healing, and clearing. I see you in your highest Whole form and reflect that back to you.

My healing journey began in earnest in 2009 when I moved to France and everything that had defined me fell away (my successful career in wedding planning; my network of friends and family; my language and cultural understanding), and on top of that, I was a new mother. When everything that defines you falls away, you are forced to look at yourself with laser vision. I began a transformative journey that lasted over a decade, exploring many modalities.

I lived in France for seven years. My first name, Rachel, is pronounced “Ra-Shell” in french and this was the name I went by for seven years. Did you know that every cell in our bodies is regenerated in a seven year period? So I was literally a new person after that experience.

Returning to the States in 2016, much had changed for me internally and I knew I would have to show up differently than before I left. I had spent a large portion of my life moving from place to place looking for where I belonged. I realized in my healing journey that the only place we all truly belong is unto and within ourselves. As I cleared out what no longer fit, or was never mine in the first place, I was left with what I decided belonged to me. Like a shell that the sea creatures live in, I had decided what was “right-sized” for me and was home unto myself, no matter where I was. Now I go by the name Chel (pronounced “Shell”, like in France) to remind me that I am always at home within myself. And this has become my passion, to help others find the home within themselves.

If I have learned anything about healing, it is that it happens in a spiral, not in a line. We revisit lessons over and over until we have plumbed their depths. The spiral pattern of shells is like this. I have a deep love of the water and the sea, and like the beloved sea creatures who carry their homes with them in the form of their shells, I found Chel to be extra symbolic for me.

I believe that discovering our inner essence is the purpose of our existence and that the work is always expanding and unfolding. Wholeness is the attainable goal.

  • My Reiki studio is on Albany Avenue, next to the Fire station and basically across the street from Crown Market. Please note: I am located on the 3rd floor in a building without an elevator. Parking is ample just outside the building.

  • I do not have a website calendar booking for NEW clients because I want to get a sense of your energy and if we resonate prior to your booking. Please fill out the “new client form” to connect (see “Scheduling” below for link to that). My schedule is typically booked out at least two weeks in advance, so for that reason, I am unable to accommodate same-day appointments or walk-ins.
    I highly value creating a confidential space for deep sharing, so having someone with you in the studio space during your appointment is not advisable. They are welcome to wait in the car or visit the many shops in the very immediate area.

  • I work with women only in energy sessions.

    I work with both men and women virtually and in event venues.

    On a 1:1 basis, I reserve the right to first decide if we are a vibrational match. And you should too. So, let’s chat and see.

  • Parking: There is a free parking lot just in front of my building.

    Payment: In studio, I accept all debit and credit cards, as well as cash, Zelle, and Venmo

  • New clients must book your first appointment with me directly. Please use the “new client form” located in multiple places here on my website to get in touch (also below). Your first appointment will be payable in studio. I accept all debit and credit cards, Venmo, Zelle, and cash. Cancellations should be made with at least 24 hours notice, when possible. I will work with you directly to reschedule, if needed. If you no show without notice, I reserve the right to not rebook your appointment.

    If you are an existing client, please book your appointment online with the private calendar link. This link is confidential and is only for your use. If you need to reschedule, you can also do that using the calendar link or your emailed appointment confirmation. Contact me if you have any trouble.
